Features of the CID Global Dance Directory

1. It is endorsed by the International Dance Coucil - CID - the UNESCO official umbrella organization for all forms of dance in all countries of the world.

2.  It is strictly non-commercial: free entry, no advertisements, nothing on sale.

3.  It is designed and maintained by dedicated volunteers, members of the CID.

4.  It treats all forms of dance in all countries on an equal basis.

5.  It lists openly all data, so that users know exactly what is listed.

6.  It lists everyone without discrimination. Members of the CID have priority but not exclusivity.

7.  It includes a contact address and an active removal procedure.

8.  It contains no illustrations or links, so that it is faster to download. Its design will be improved, to ensure faster search.

9.  It is not connected with a private individual or a business enterprise.

10.  It is by far the largest dance directory ever compiled, containing at least 10 times more addresses than any other.

11.  It is updated with the help of CID members all over the world.

12.  It is guaranteed never to be given to others, printed or used for other purposes.
